WHAT ARE YOU WEARING FOR NEW YEARS?

Tomorrow it´s time for the big shebang! A day I really love spending in good company. The celebration of the year that has been and the new year to come. This year our celebration isn´t taking place at the usual location, so we´re giving New Years a different approach. This time, scaled down a bit. But that´s no reason dressing down, right? It´s the last party of the year, for Christ sake!

I´ve selected a few of my favorite items from East Dane as a proposal to what you could – and I would – wear for this special occation.

The suits from Brooklyn Tailors are really worth checking out, and MAN I´d like to get my hands on that vintage Hermes money-clip from WGACA Vintage. Get your Mark McNairy New Amsterdam shoes here, the essential pocket square from Alexander Olch here, the sartorial bowtie from Theory here and your dressy watch from KOMONO here.

A crisp white shirt combined with a sharp tailored blazer is a sure thing for New Years but I just got rid of my black suit and am in desperate need of a new one. I know I´m not getting my hands on one by tomorrow, but I´m eyeing a few from Theory here together with a tux-shirt from the same brand. If you haven´t already googled Mick & Bianca Jagger, you definitely should. Have a look at all the details in their way of dressing; always adding the right accessories to complete any outfit. I´m recommending brown loafers from Loake 1880 to break up the typical black attire and a minimalistic belt with hidden buckle from Billykirk.

To wrap this up, I´m wishing you all a beautiful new year!
See you in 2015 – I have to iron my shirt now..
