PREPPING

Right now we´ve got a small greenery on out dining table just waiting to be moved out on our brand new terrace. I´ve always dreamed of picking fresh greens for my salads and especially for my favorite breakfasts on Saturdays. If you ask me I really like these small plants, so having them right next to us every evening really don´t bother me. Maybe we´d have to get some more to replace them when they sadly have to move 15 feet away. We´ve also planted lots of seeds so please please please let ut have herbs at some point!

Vi har en liten hage på spisebordet som bare venter på å bli flyttet ut på vår splitter mye veranda. Jeg har alltid drømt om å plukke grønnsaker rett fra “hagen” til salatene mine og spesielt til favorittfrokostene mine på lørdager. Hadde det vært opp til meg kunne vi beholdt disse små grønnsaksplantene ved siden av oss mens vi inntar måltidene våre, men kanskje vi heller må skaffe oss noen flere når de må flytte hele 5 meter unna. Vi har også plantet masse frøså krysser fingrene for at vi får masse urter på et tidspunkt!

THE NECK SCARF

My boyfriend got me this amazing Hermes neck scarf for my birthday last week. I love the print with the Russian (correct me if I´m wrong!) dancers seen from above. And the mix of spring colors is goint to make even the dullest of outfits pop. Can´t wait to combine it with a basic white tee. You´ll see a lot more of this in the time to come..

Kjæresten min ga meg dette fine Hermes tørklet til bursdagen min som var i forrige uke. Jeg elsker printet av de Russiske (er det Russiske de er?) danserne sett ovenifra. Kombinasjonen av ulike vårfarger vil kunne ligge til det lille ekstra med selv de kjedligste antrekkene. Jeg gleder meg til å kombinere det med en basic hvit t-skjorte. Dette er ikke det siste du ser til dette tørklet..

COVERED

It´s been one heck of a winter. So far it´s been nothing but all white everything. And I´m freezing my ass off, god damn it. This weekend it got a bit better though, so I finally got the chance to wear something else than a down jacket. One blogpost covered. Yey! Here I´m off to celebrate my friends birthday. (I can´t resist a celebration..)

THINK

The year is coming to an end and automatically you start reminiscing about it. It´s time to relive some moments in your head. The things that have mattered. The moments of love, joy, sadness and sorrow. Your friends, brothers, sisters and loved ones. Your achievements and losses. Take time to take all the bad as well as the good from the past year. Grow even stronger and focus on the time you got back up on the horse rather than the time you fell off it. No doubt I´m looking forward to the new year. Think off all the things we can do, and when the time comes: I wish you the happiest of new years.

WINTER CALLED

Good news! Winter called. She wanted me to know she´s going to be a bit late. I couldn´t be happier. Especially now, two glasses of wine into this Saturday, I couldn´t ask for a better day. Enjoy yours.

STEP INSIDE

The winter season isn´t the easiest period to be a blogger here in Norway. The sun sets around 16:00, the weather is kinda gray and rainy and you have to put on loads and loads of clothes to get through the day. Alive, that is.. (Ok, maybe a bit over the top there, but you get the picture!) It doesn´s always look so nice with lots of wool and scarves wrapped around your body and neck, and the lighting is bad. And the thing is, I´ve always thought that if I can´t do this right (blogging), I´m not goind to do it at all. That is the reason for my lack of posts lately, that I haven´t been able to excecute it the way I want. And I´m sorry for that. But quality before quantity, right? November makes me a bit dark and moody and taking pictures don´t nessicarily fit my schedule these days, but I promise to make up for it, even though I´ll mostly have to step inside for the pictures.

A THING FOR BRASS

I´ve realized I have a thing for brass these days. My recent purchase was a beautiful hand-blown carafe with hand painted brass details from Tom Dixon and the high ball glasses in the same style. I got mine here. The glasses looks great filled up with some gin & tonic and the carafe is perfect for red wine. The rest of the stuff pictures is vintage and produced in Norway. Except the vase. That one´s from Bolia.

THE AUTUMN SHADE

I could write a post about how beautiful nature becomes when autumn arrives, but let´s just agree on the fact that it´s been done a few times to many.. I just want to show you this beautiful coat that just happens to be colored in the most perfect autumn shade. Truly perfect for fall. ..and posing in front of colorful ivy. Ehm!

HELPS ME COPE

After watching Game of Thrones (Yes, I know I´m a bit late on that part!) and it being October and all, we know very well winter is coming.. A couple of things that helps me cope with what seems to be an everlasting season is pictured above. Here´s a hint; It´s the flowers and the Celiné box bag!
